Enrichment Activities

The Parent Council is proud to offer After-School Enrichment Activities (EAs) with the support of family volunteers. In 2025 five EAs were offered allowing over 60 scholars to expand their horizons, build relationships, and have fun doing it!

Enrichment Activities Offered in 2025-2026

This enrichment introduces scholars to the fundamentals of chess while developing strategic thinking, focus, and problem-solving skills. Students of all experience levels are welcome to learn, practice, and enjoy friendly matches in a supportive, engaging environment.

Meets: 1st Wednesday of the Month, 2:45-4:00pm

The Chess EA is currently full.

This enrichment encourages curiosity and hands-on learning through science, technology, engineering, and math challenges. Scholars explore problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork through engaging, age-appropriate projects.

The cost to participate in the STEM Enrichment Activity is $25/scholar to allow for the purchasing of supplies.

Meets: 1st & 3rd Thursday of the Month, 2:45-4:15pm

The STEM EA is currently full.

Drama enrichment invites scholars to build confidence and creativity through storytelling, movement, and performance. Students explore theatrical expression while developing collaboration and communication skills.

Grades 1-4 Meet: 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the Month, 2:45-3:45pm
Grades 5-9 Meet: 2nd & 4th Thursday of the Month, 2:45-3:45pm

We’re thrilled to announce the first ever Ski & Snowboard program kicking off January 6 at Pats Peak!

The program runs on Tuesdays for five weeks beginning January 6, with lessons starting at 4:30 PM. Participants can enjoy skiing before and after lessons.

Many parents have offered to help with carpooling for scholars whose parents aren’t attending, and scholars will leave directly from school when classes let out.

SCA’s first LEGO EA is for scholars in K-9 organized by Mr. & Mrs. Brandon. Scholars may bring a favorite LEGO set; limited sets will be available to borrow. It’s a fun and creative time to build and collaborate!

Mosaics Enrichment Activity is Led by Mrs. Tatiana Nikshych, Mosaics will allow scholars to broaden their horizons with a beautiful form of artistic expression.

Mosaics is open to scholars in grades 6-9 at a supplies fee of $20/year. To enroll in Mosaics please contact Mrs. Nikshych via text message at 603-303-2607.

Meets: 1st & 3rd Monday of the Month, 2:45-4:00pm

We’re excited to launch a new Board Game Enrichment Activity led by Mr. Palmer! By popular request, our first board game will be Dungeons and Dragons. Before we finalize the schedule, we’d like to gauge scholar interest and find a date and time that works well for as many scholars as possible. 

This EA is for scholars in grades 6 to 9 who are interested in joining. Please share your availability below so we can coordinate the best possible meeting time. This EA will begin at 2:40 and run until 4pm.

As a Parent Council sponsored activity, cost shall never be a barrier to entry for any scholar. For information regarding scholarship support please contact PCPres@seacoastclassical.org.

  • Crochet/Beginner Sewing
  • Drawing or other fine arts

Get Involved!

Do you have a special talent, hobby, or professional expertise you’d like to share with our scholars? 

We welcome parents, grandparents, and friends of the Academy to propose new enrichment offerings that support our mission and expand the opportunities available to our scholars. Activities do not need to run all year and may specify age appropriateness. If you would like to offer an activity for a set amount of time (4, 6, 8 weeks), we’d love to hear from you! Please fill out the Google form.
